Take Charge of Your Enrollment

Open enrollment is fast approaching. Are you prepared? Chances are you still have some work to do. Here are some steps to get you headed in the right direction. The enrollment deadline is set in stone, so everything must be settled by then.

What to Know Before You Enroll

  1. Before anything else, review your current benefits so you know what coverage you had last year.
  2. Think about any changes that happened in your life since last year. Are you supporting more dependents? Have you developed a chronic health condition? These questions will help you determine if you need more – or less – coverage this year.
  3. Read all of the plan documents for this year. Pay close attention to the terms and descriptions of the benefits. Not understanding something now may cost you down the road.
