OSHA continues to monitor and enforce compliance with workplace safety and health standards through the COVID-19 pandemic.
– OSHA citations related to COVID-19 have resulted in more than $1 million in penalties since the pandemic began.
– Violations include compliance issues with the respiratory protection standard as well as reporting and recording obligations.
– OSHA has also issued citations for violations of the general duty clause.
